Fashion for Paws, April 10 at the Italian Embassy

Washington Life magazine named the Fashion for Paws Runway Show the #1 Fashion Event of 2009 in your “Social Year in Review,” prime-time television special on the CW Network!

I'm on the committee for Fashion for Paws and got 8 models involved: Lena Aburdene, Erik Holzherr, Barbara Merola, Dr. Dondi Dahlgaard, Cara Townsend, Donna Donella, Makeda Saggau-Sackey, and Taryn Fielder. To attend the event, tickets cost $85. I kindly request you buy your tickets through the models I got invovled. They have to raise $3,000 to walk in the runnway show. Donations are tax deductible.

All proceeds from the Fashion for Paws Runway Show directly benefit the more than 30,000 homeless, lost, neglected and abused animals WHS cares for each year in the Washington, DC region, as well as supports vital programs such as Humane Education, Human-Animal Rehabilitation, Humane Law Enforcement, low-cost spay/neuter, sheltering and adoption.
The Fashion for Paws Runway Show includes 3 different categories of models walking the runway. The heart and soul of the event are the fundraising models who agree to raise funds in the weeks leading up to the fashion show and participate in a friendly fundraising competition. The top male and female fundraiser will be awarded the title “Model Washingtonian of the Year,” on the runway on April 10th.

Play- Scapino! at The Little Theater in Alexandria, VA

Come see my fellow improv actor Joseph Randazzo perform in Scapino!
January 16 – February 6, 2010

Go to Gold Star for good deals on tickets:

http://www.goldstar.com/events/alexandria-va/scapino.html

The Little Theatre presents a madcap comedy based loosely on a play by Moliere. Set in modern Naples, Scapino! begins with two young men who are left by their miserly fathers in the care of inattentive servants. Naturally, trouble ensues, and the play pits servants against masters, sons against fathers, and even throws in romance, gypsies, chase scenes and more.

Looking for Bands/ Support Haiti Jan 31 Rock 'n Roll Hotel

From my friend Deanna,

Hi......I'm asking everyone in the DC area to spread the word about MUSIC HELPING HAITI Sunday Jan. 31st at ROCK & ROLL HOTEL in DC 7pm-12...... Tickets are just $12

We are doing a concert benefit for the Haiti earthquake victims, much like an event we did when the cyclone hit Myanmar in 2008 to get an idea please check out www.musicformyanmar.org we had a lot of local and national press with Music For Myanmar, and we will have the same with the concert event for Haiti..... A lot of people do events and only a % of door goes to help, BUT not us, 100% of the ticket price goes to The Red Cross International Disaster Relief Fund for Haiti, this is about getting together and helping people......Rock & Roll Hotel in DC is donating their venue again for us on Sunday Jan. 31st......the reason we are doing this in 2 weeks is because of the dire help these people need! http://www.rockandrollhoteldc.com/portal/

We are in talks with a major internet company to do a live video feed of the concert, that way people can watch the event all around the world and be able to click and donate to the Red Cross instantly........

So far we have:
